Ya back? Cool here we go!!
I came into this world to a loving Mom and extended family, all were present when I made my way into this crazy world and yes it is a crazy world, can you picture in your mind a horse let alone a colt writing his own story? Well in this crazy world a horse can write his own story.
After I left my warm, dark world I was greeted by cheers of excitement, but it sure was cold! So I snuzzled up to Mom and she kept me warm.
As the days turned into weeks and they turned into months I was growing into a fine young man of 5 months I was always protected so I had no fears until one morning I wandered off away from my Mom to visit the neighbor horse and to this day I regret my decision, but it has turned out okay I guess, in the neighboring pasture a big, old gray horse lived by himself, he looked so lonely, that is why I decided to visit him he looked like he really needed a friend and with my sparkling personality I was sure he would love me like a son, since I have never been able to spend time with my Daddy. At first the old gray was pretty nice to me so I found my way into his pasture, come to find out he did not like it at all!! He spun around and kicked me in the mouth! It hurt so bad, I started spitting this red, thick stuff out of my mouth, it scared me something terrible, I started to cry for Mommy that was when I got kicked again, this time in my back leg. I started running best I could towards the fence line, running with everything I had, my leg and mouth hurt, the pain was unreal, but I had to run! I heard my Mom screaming " run as fast as you can baby! Run faster!! He is catching up to you!!" As I got to the fence line Mom was there waiting for me to help me over.
As she grabbed my neck and drug me across the fence I felt it tear into my skin, but I was laying at her feet, lathered in sweat and blood.
The darkness crept up on us my Mom curled up besides me to keep me warm and to protect me from the Gray.
