The days
blended into each other again, I was feeling better and starting to walk again,
Mom started fitting us for new blankey, boots and a new halters, we were
wondering what was going on, then we were loaded into the trailer, and off we
went! We
were in the trailer for such a long time hours and hours then finally Mom opened
the door and let us out, where were we? We sure were not home or at the vets,
not even up at Bob and Pat’s where we stayed when CC got hurt, Mom took us to
a small grassy paddock where she let us wander around, while she brought some
food and water for us, gave us big loves and said I see you tomorrow, TOMORROW? Where
was she going??? How come we were left here?? What was this place?? But CC was
here with me she was a bit worried also so all night we leaned on each other for
support.
True to her words bright and early in the Morning there came mom
we were so happy to see her.
She loaded us back up into
the trailer for breakfast, but we did not leave just and sat
there for a few hours Then
we were led into this big building where it was warm and dry CC was tied to the
wall so Mom could take care of me, I was given a shot to make me sleepy, I was wondering
what was going on in the haze I saw a bunch of stuff being rolled into the room,
what were they going to do with that stuff?? Was it going to hurt?? They brought
it up against my shoulder so far it did not hurt so I let the drugs coursing
threw my body take hold and I relaxed.
It was all over before I knew it and started to come out of the haze, I
looked over at Mom she was standing with the Vet crying he kept saying that I
should not be standing where I was page 14 |
