The next day Mom loaded us both into the trailer once again and told
us that she was gonna make CCs leg all better.
We were at the vets for a long time, CC got lots of X-rays on her foot
and leg, Dr. Joe said she was gonna be fine in a few weeks after being in a
cast, I
hate to say this but I was laughing so hard
at her trying to walk in that thing, I was laughing up until she kicked
me with it so I figured I had better stop and
be nice, but being a young man of a year old it was hard.
When we got home we were not unloaded instead Mom went to the barn and
got all our food, what was going on we wondered, after she got a bunch loaded we
were back on the road again, it was starting to get dark and we were going
again.
We were let out at a different barn; this one also had the feeling of
being a nice place so we trusted Mom she has not let anything bad happen to us
yet.
We were put in a big stall together given a deep bed of straw it was so
comfy, Mom gave us a Kiss and said she would be back in a few days to see us.
During those days we did have fun these 2 girls came out and played with
me, they made CC stay in the stall cause of her cast but gosh it sure was fun to
get out and run and play!
In a few days true to her words mom came back out to see us, she took the
cast off of CC to see how her foot was doing, it was a lot better now so Mom
left it off, gave us a kiss and said her good bye’s.
